Neutral Fall Trimmings To The Home

September 26, 2016 By thriftytonifty

Were you just as surprised as me when folks started proclaiming it was the first day of fall? What? Weren't we just at the pool soaking in the rays or on the boat with the breeze on our faces.  I'm so in denial that the cool weather will be upon us soon. Because, of my oblivion, I'm was so glad At Home Stores was on the ball and presented an opportunity for me to add a touch of fall trimmings to … [Read more...]

Does time sneak by and you realize after the fact you missed an important date? Well, it did for me this month. I missed a big personal milestone involving Thrifty to Nifty. June 20, 2016 By thriftytonifty

I have been busy treasure hunting since the beginning of spring. So much as to the point I have to call it quits on any new purchases. It is time I got busy and started tackling these must needed transformations.   Looking at the pile can be a bit overwhelming, so I decided to do a piece that would take the least amount of effort.   This lead me to do a rocking chair redo. Darling Bench Makeover

March 7, 2016 By thriftytonifty

I have been trying to stay true to my New Year's goal of treating my blog as a job.  All in all I have been doing well at starting and completing projects, writing posts, and updating my facebook page and other social media.  At first I felt a bit shy to share my projects with the outside world, but I have found great support and encouragement in this new endevor.  Thank you all for being such … [Read more...]

March 4, 2016 By thriftytonifty

Why am I never satisfied? Let me start over.  Why am I continuously decorating my home and then shortly after finishing change it all up again?  I guess I never really realized I was an ADD decorator until a friend brought it to my attention. She actually was the the one to " coin" the title and bestowed it upon me.  We laughed and I then I showed her the new projects I completed which allowed me … [Read more...]
