Have you experienced disorganization when it come to you jewelry? I sure did. To be honest, I am not a big jewelry wearer, but, that may have been because of its accessibility. When I would be getting ready I would not take the time to look through my selections to make a choice to complete my outfit. Out of sight , Out of mind. Then after the fact I would kick myself for forgetting. You see, I do like the look of acessorizing.
So I needed a plan. Because I enjoy repurposing, I knew there was a way I could organize on a budget Using some items I found around the house, I created an organized place to view my jewelry
Repurposed items:
Picture Frame
Shelf liner
Tie rack
Fun child’s wall hook
Earring Display Holder
I removed the glass from a picture frame I had stashed in the closet.
Using the cardboard back of the picture frame as a template, I trace the shape upon some fun pink shelf liner. I then cut it out and taped it to the cardboard backing
I inserted this into the frame and ta da. I can hang my earrings from it.
Tie Rack:
My husband discarded this tie rack a while ago. I held on to it because I it it would have a useful purpose. Low and behold…. Necklace display rack!
Child”s Hook
On one of my treasure hunt days, I came across this fun ladybug wall hook. Although I did not have a use for it right off the bat, I knew it had to come home with me. Well it’s new home is an organizer for my bracelets.
The final product has been so useful.
It now hangs in my bathroom. When I am getting ready, I can just look over at my options, and make my choice quite easily. Such small things can make such a difference.
What little tweaks have you made to make life easier?
