I am continuing the effort to decorate my home little by little by just shopping my stash. My latest attempts have been a Pottery Barn Look-Alike and Accessorizing my Home Office. Both endeavors were completed by using items I already had in my home.. aka “my stash”.
Being pleased with their outcomes, I pondered my next no- cost decorating attempt. Thus, I consulted Pintrest for inspiration. I decided on a creating a space in my home that I did not not have yet. It is a space I will use daily. It seems to be a trendy thing at the moment. What is it you ask? Drum role……….. A Coffee Station! Here are some my favorites I came across.

Favorite Coffee Stations
I am the only coffee drinker in my home, so this area does not have to be large. In the past my Keurig sat on the counter with either the coffee pods in a carousel next to the machine or kept in a drawer below. I even went as far as to hang my mugs on a cup tree but then found it took up too much space. They went back in the cabinet directly above the machine. So really I always had a station in essence but never really like the space that it took up. So using the inspirations I found, I went and shopped my space. This is what I came up with…

coffee station cart
1. Something to place my coffee maker on. This cart was a garage sale find a couple summers ago . All I did to update it, was use a can of spray paint on it. It was hiding in my living room behind my sofa holding a lamp. It was just too cute not to be seen.

Storage ideas for coffee station
2. Some sort of storage. After looking around the house, I came up with two options. A divided, primitive, wooden, tray that I could place on the cart and a divided black shelf I could hang on the wall to hold my k-cups. ( You can see I tested it out beforehand.)

Coffee Station
After some rearranging and tweaking, my coffee station came together– all from shopping my stash. I love no cost decorating. It’s working well with the budget!!
Have you rethought a space in your home that could be changed out by just choosing and picking from items you already own? Shop your stash and show me what you have reinvented.
I love that crate you used to hold your mugs! We have a little space of cabinet that is our coffee station, but I’m thinking I need to spruce it up a bit after seeing your ideas!
Thanks for sharing at the Creative Inspiration party, hope to see you again this week!
Thanks for taking a look, Kelly. I found that crate at a resale store. It took a while before I found a place for it.

What a great idea. I love your coffee station. I think I need one right next to my desk, but getting up to make coffee is the only way I force myself to take a break.
