How many of you experience the long winters and the “funk” that can accompany it? I can tell you, I do. When February comes along, I am so ready for a change. Garage sales, flea markets and even estate sales have pretty much come to a halt. Treasure hunting does not happen as often as I would like. I needed a change, to try something new. That is when I came across an inspirational quote that spoke to my heart. So much so, that now this Thrifty Framed Inspirational Quote, adorns my office space to inspire me daily. Let me share how it all began….
Back in February, I was contacted by Patrima Aravabhoomi, a developer and designer at Craft Street Design which specializes in beautiful and simple inspirational quotes, to select a print of choice in return for a review of the product. Before responding, I viewed her website only to find an amazing selection of cleanly designed inspirational prints. I responded back that I would be happy to participate. The most difficult piece of the task was not this review but the actual selection of a quote. Although her site was easy to navigate, I just didn’t know what type of quote spoke to me. The selections ranged from ones appropriate for children’s rooms, the home, kitchens, and the office. Finally, I came across one that was perfect for me and where I was in my “funk”. I emailed her my selection and in a few short days….. a packaged arrived. Don’t you just love receiving packages?
This is what arrived after the unpacking. Isn’t it sweet? The personalized and simple touch of the hand written tag is just an extra bonus, just very thoughtful.
The quote I chose: What if I fail? Oh, but my darling what if you fly? This quote practically jump right off the screen and knocked me over. I have been in a “funk” not only because of the long winter but because my life has become a bit mundane. I have been thinking and talking, and talking and thinking about a personal change but feared the outcome. So, this quote spoke loud and clear to me.
Rummaging through my thrifty stash of goodies, I came across the perfect frame. It was one that I found a while back while treasure hunting and it turned out to be the perfect size. (Of course! It was meant to be). The framed inspirational print now sits upon my desk, in my office, speaking to me and reminding me to “give it a try”, whatever that may be.
Words can be powerful. Fill your life with those that have a a positive effect.
I received this inspirational print free in turn for sharing this review. I have not received any other compensation from Craft Street Design. This opinion is strictly my own.
