When we first moved into our home almost 14 years ago, Our front door was a deep forest green. This was way before I starting blogging so I do not have a picture of it. One day my husband was in the painting mood and decided to paint the front door with some left over cream colored paint. I liked the fresh new look and was very appreciative of his effort in his attempts to spruce things up. … [Read more...]
Hi-Ho Silver Away!!!
As I was going through my stash of projects, I realized I never followed up with the remainder of the rocking horse conclusion. If you recall, I was undecided what to do with the base of the horse. At first I thought I would just leave it the stained wood color. However, now that it sat for a while and I was able to really process it, I decided to go ahead and paint it. I don't know why I had … [Read more...]

Don't you? Please share how you mixed things up … [Read more...]

Palm Beach Buffet Transformation Progress
Remember the yellow buffet that was discovered at a garage sale back in October? Well, I have been slowly working on it little by little. The project started out in the garage. I was able to get a couple of coats of paint on it before the weather turned too cold for painting outside. The paint I chose is called Lucketts Green by Miss Mustard Seed. You can read about this fabulous paint … [Read more...]
